About the author

Meet
Nicola Italia.

Long before she wrote novels, Nicola was a child in Los Angeles who loved to read—and was already beginning to write stories of her own.

That early love of storytelling grew into a collection of historical romances and mysteries, filled with passionate characters, unfamiliar places, and lives changed by secrets.

A love of history, a life in stories.

of taking you places.

Nicola earned a degree in communications and has worked in journalism, education, government, and the nonprofit sector. Her travels have taken her through Europe, China, Central America, and Egypt.

History remains a particular passion. From distant shores to Victorian drawing rooms, her novels invite readers into lives shaped by the expectations, ambitions, and hidden tensions of another age.

Whether you arrive for a sweeping romance or a mystery with a darker edge, there is a new story waiting.
